Semi-Automatic Defibrillator i-PAD CU-SP1 — an automatic external defibrillator (AED) CU Medical Systems from South Korea. Once the electrodes are applied, the device automatically records and analyzes the ECG for ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. If a shock is needed, the device charges itself. Then it is the rescuer's turn. The rescuer presses the shock button, ensuring that no one is touching the patient. The British Heart Foundation (BHF) along with the Football Association of England selected iPAD CU-SP1 as the defibrillator for a campaign that aims to install AED in all amateur football clubs across England.
