Consumables
Consumables for medical equipment are budgeted for the whole service life of a device: film is bought as long as the printer runs, and dressings for vacuum therapy as long as the department treats such patients. This section collects medical consumables for the equipment Finer supplies. At the moment that means film for dry printing of images plus dressing kits for VAC wound therapy.
Which consumables are in the Finer catalog?
For printing images there is hu.qu medical dry thermal film in several sizes, plus another dry thermal film for medical printing in packs of 100 sheets. Its product card says it is not light-sensitive, so it can be loaded in daylight. For wound care there are Epicure dressing kits for vacuum therapy in three sizes: small, medium or large. The dry printers themselves are in the Components for X-ray machines section.
How do you choose film for dry printing?
Check the printer model, the film type it accepts and the sheet size, since a format for one model may not fit another. Dry thermal film needs no processing. The image forms from the heat of the printer head, which is exactly why the film should be stored somewhere cool and dry, away from radiators, heaters or direct sunlight, or the sheets may darken before printing. Work out how many sheets the department uses per month and order ahead, so printing never stops because of an empty tray.
How do you pick dressings for vacuum therapy?
The dressing seals the wound so that the pump can hold negative pressure over it. Size follows the wound, so a department usually needs all three Epicure sizes. Check compatibility with the pump and connectors you already have, as well as sterile packaging and the expiry date. The kits are single-use, so a month's stock is calculated from the number of patients and how often dressings are changed.
Where to buy medical consumables?
Finer Ukraine LLC, in business since 2015, delivers consumables together with the equipment they belong to. Part of the range shows a price on the site, and larger volumes are calculated in a quote. Regular purchases through a tender are possible too. We will prepare the documents. Equipment for operating rooms or intensive care is in the Medical Equipment section. To order, phone 0 800 334 585 or write from the contacts page.
FAQ
1. What are medical consumables?
Items that are used up while a device runs or during treatment and need regular replacement: printing film or paper, electrodes, sensors, breathing circuits, filters, dressings. They are bought throughout the equipment's service life, so their cost is worth calculating before the device itself is purchased.
2. What is medical dry printing film?
Film for printing X-ray and other medical images on a dry printer. The image forms from heat, with no developer or fixer. The hu.qu film and the 100-sheet film in our catalog are not light-sensitive, so they are loaded into the printer in daylight.
3. How does vacuum wound therapy work?
A foam and a sealing film are placed over the wound, and a pump creates negative pressure under the dressing through a connector. The pressure draws off exudate and keeps the wound closed between dressing changes. The doctor decides on the regimen and its length, and the catalog has Epicure kits for the dressings.
4. Which dressings are needed for vacuum wound therapy?
A dressing that fits the wound size and works with the pump and connectors your department uses, in sterile packaging. Epicure dressing kits come in small, medium or large sizes, so the size is chosen for the specific patient. Check the expiry date separately.
5. Can consumables be bought through a tender?
Yes. For regular purchases of film or dressings we will prepare a quote for the required volume along with the tender documents. Work out monthly use so that the purchase includes a reserve and you do not run out between deliveries.
