BiClamp LAP – for laparoscopy (ligating)

BiClamp LAP — laparoscopic bipolar clamp Erbe Elektromedizin (Germany) for vessel sealing by thermofusion. The instrument is reusable and operates with the BiClamp mode of Erbe VIO. generators. The generator applies voltage between the jaws, so the current is limited by the captured tissue, monitors its condition, and interrupts energy supply through AUTO STOP when the sealing zone is complete.

Features

• According to Erbe, thermofusion BiClamp seals vessels up to 7 mm in diameter (depending on the model) and tissues with vessels; the sealing zone fuses irreversibly.
• The surgeon controls the compression force, but the geometry of the jaws prevents exceeding the maximum force.
• Narrow coagulation zone that preserves adjacent structures.
• Rod diameter of 5 mm.
• Jaw shapes: Kelly with deep serration, Maryland and fenestrated (with serration or smooth), straight smooth.
• The handle, rod tube, and insert have separate articles, allowing for the replacement of worn parts individually.
