Mobile digital radiography system TMB from the Italian Technix — a portable X-ray machine for imaging bedridden patients directly in the ward. In the manufacturer's line of mobile devices, this is the advanced model. TMB operates on electric drive and is powered by a battery, so no socket is needed for either movement or exposure. The battery lasts for a day. There are two versions: TMB 320 with a 32 kW monoblock and TMB 400 with a 40 kW generator.

Features

• Rotating column and telescopic arm reach the bed even in tight multi-bed wards; the column can be fixed or telescopic.
• Buttons on the emitter activate motorized micro-movements to precisely position the tube above the bed in the intensive care unit or operating room.
• The device stops as soon as the control handle is released, the front bumper halts it upon contact with an obstacle, and the motors can be manually unlocked if the batteries are depleted or a malfunction occurs.
• Infrared remote control starts exposure from a distance of up to 10 m, with a coverage of 360°, including through regular and lead glass.
• Collimator with copper and aluminum filters for pediatric imaging and a double laser line for focal distance.
• Digital version: the image from the flat-panel detector is displayed on a 19-inch touchscreen PC and sent to a diagnostic station or archive via DICOM.. The analog version works with cassettes, including CR.

This mobile X-ray machine is recommended by the manufacturer for intensive care, inpatient wards, emergency departments, plaster rooms, pediatrics, orthopedics, operating rooms, and sports medicine. In TMB 320, the vertical travel is 569–2069 mm. The emitter rotates ±180°.
