Treadmill with anchoring system BalanceTutor™

BalanceTutor™ is a treadmill with an anchoring system built on technology that allows the therapist to create controlled postural disturbances, such as slipping or stumbling. This is a fundamental difference from conventional walking training: balance recovery is practiced not in stable conditions but at the moment of actual loss of balance, as occurs in real life. Advanced technology utilizes platform movement in various directions to simulate such situations. The anchoring system protects the patient from falling during exercise.
