Stryker
Stryker is an American medical technology company headquartered in Portage, Michigan. It grew out of a business that orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Homer Stryker founded in 1941. Stryker reports two segments: MedSurg and Neurotechnology, and Orthopaedics. Its work spans joint replacement and spine surgery as well as trauma care and endoscopy. The Acute Care business makes stretchers and beds.
Finer has two Stryker transport stretchers with a fifth wheel that keeps them on course in corridors and around corners. The Transport Stretcher has a twin-column hydraulic base and takes 227 kg, while the ST1-X from the ST1 series has an X-ray deck along the whole litter, so an image can be taken without moving the patient. Both are on the For transportation page.
