Patient warming system CWS 5000

Patient Heating System CWS 5000 — a convection heating device Cocoon from Care Essentials.. It heats the air and delivers it through a hose into a disposable blanket Cocoon, which distributes heat across the body. The system is used before surgery, during it, and in the post-operative recovery room. The unit weighs 6 kg and can be mounted on a trolley Cocoon, bed rail, or infusion stand, or placed on the floor.

Features

• Five modes: room temperature, 34, 40, 43, and 46 °C; rapid heating to 46 °C, after 10 minutes the device automatically switches to 43 °C.
• Two levels of air flow, filter HEPA H14 (0.3 µm, 99.995 %).
• Overheat protection, alarm system, 1.8 m hose.
• Dimensions 40 × 29 × 22 cm; 100, 110 or 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz.
• According to the supplier: noise level less than 47 dB, accuracy ±2 °C.
