Getinge

Getinge is a Swedish group based in Gothenburg. It started in 1904, when Olander Larsson began making farm equipment in the village of Getinge. The company moved into medical technology in 1932 with sterilizers. In 2000 Getinge bought Maquet and began equipping operating rooms. Today the group works in intensive care and cardiovascular procedures, and it equips operating rooms and sterile reprocessing departments.
